I watched Sweeney Todd with MinMin nung Friday nang gabi. Dapat kaming apat (ako, gigi, minmin and jil) yung manonood, pero jil watched Spy Kids and Gigi watched Death Note instead, so yeah..kami na lang ni minmin yung nanood. :P. It was really fun watching it, considering the blood and morbidness. I was screaming and pretty much cursing in most parts of the film because i was freaking out so much. *low tolerance for those kinds of stuff*. Then i somehow affected Minmin, i guess. So yeah. we were both blah-ing. :)). I remember saying, "Sh** sh** sh**! Si Joanna!!!!". HAHAHA LOL. Si minmin: "Takte boggart! Ba't buhay pa sya??". =)) I had my eyes covered for most of the scenes and stuff. Though the blood wasn't as realistic, it still freaked me out.
With the songs and stuff, yeah. they were great. i love the song Tobi sang to Mrs. Lovett (forgot the title.. and.. is my spelling correct? xD. *too tamad to check the net*). It was sooo... :x. and and it was sooooo cute. as in really... :x. :)). i love Tobiii! it was so sad nga lang what happened in the end.. :(
With the brutality, well. HAHA. i get so scared easily, so yeah. i liked it though. even if there was this part of me that was like 'Shoot crap!' and id cover my eyes, id still peep through my hands and watch it. :)).
The vengeance part: LOL. everything was Mrs. Lovett's fault. xD i blame her. :))
Favorite part: TOBI SINGING. :D
The most brutal killing: even if more blood was spurt out when he killed Turpin, i still found how he killed his first victim (the gayish hair-do-ed guy) more brutal. HELLOOO? he hit his head like how many times with the kettle? And the blood! OH THE BLOOD!!! o.o
Kinda weird part: When the first victim guy took out his cape. =))
...... Generally, the film was okay. considering the fact that yeah,, it was brutal and violent. xD
weee.
id want to see the Broadway version though.. wonder how they made the blood gush out? hmmm. xD
